The Full Story

A Dream That Sparked a Vision

This whole vision came to me in a dream.

I was in a place I knew was Lahaina, not because someone told me, but because I felt it, I saw it, I knew it. It was home. There were people all around, full of joy, laughing, praying, worshiping, eating pupu's and talking story. Different ministry activities were happening all at once, not in chaos, but in harmony. It felt like family. Like purpose. Like, The Kingdom of Heaven.

There was a main room where a lot of people were gathered. There was outdoor space where others were talking story, praying, eating, just being together. There were a couple smaller rooms where more intimate things were happening like arts for the keiki, or quiet moments for prayer. The whole place had this sense of Aloha and Anointing.. like it was truly for the people.

I remember thinking, “What is this place? This is amazing. This is exactly what Lahaina needed.”

So I asked someone walking past me, “Hey, what is this place called?”

They looked at me and said:

“This is the Kingdom Community Center”, with a warm smile.

That’s when I woke up. And that’s when the vision began.

From Dream to Reality. What began as a dream has grown into a calling.

The Kingdom Community Center is a place in Lahaina where the Body of Christ can come together, not as separate churches or competing ministries, but as one Ê»ohana, with one kuleana, united under Jesus. It’s a home for worship, outreach, discipleship, and real community. It’s not fancy or flashy. It’s warm, welcoming, and full of life.

This space was born out of a deep desire to see:

• Unity in the Body of Christ, across denominations and backgrounds

• Empowerment of everyday believers to walk in their unique callings and giftings.

• Ministry that flows from love and genuine overflow, not from obligation and religiosity.

• Healing and hope for Lahaina and for the next generation.

What you’ll find at the center:

• A main gathering room for worship nights, meals, and community events

• Smaller rooms for studies, counseling, planning, prayer, etc..

• An outdoor space to hang out, connect, and just enjoy being together

• A rhythm of weekly gatherings like YoungLife, Bible studies, worship nights, and outreach prep

• A leadership team that reflects the five-fold ministry: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers

• No Sunday services — because we’re here to support local churches, not compete with them

We believe in:

• Jesus at the center

• Unity in essentials, grace in differences

• Evidence of the fruit of the Spirit over time carries more weight than a title given by an organization like a bible college or seminary.

• Repentance from division and a commitment to walk in aloha and humility

• Pulama (cherish) our community — not just by word, but by deed

This center is here to be a blessing to the keiki, the kupuna, the leaders, the lost, the hungry, and the hopeful. We’re not building a brand. We’re building the Kingdom of Heaven in Lahaina. If you feel called to be part of this through prayer, giving, leading, or by simply showing up, we would love to connect with you. We’re still growing, still learning, still dreaming, and still moving forward in faith.

Let’s cherish our home, love one another, and help make our community here on the West Side of Maui a little more like Heaven.
